Therapist Details

W. Vernon Lee, Ph.D, CSAT is the Director and Founder of the Sex Addiction Recovery Program. He is a Licensed Psychologist who holds a Ph.D from the Temple University Philadelphia, PA. He is a longtime member of the California Coalition on Sexual Offending (CCOSO) He is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH) and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and Supervisor by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). Dr. Lee is also a Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).

Dr. Lee has extensive training in individual, family, group, and marital therapy and has developed innovative programs for couples and families He was instrumental in the development of treatment programs for other adolescents, substance abuser, and male batterers. He provides ongoing supervision for those wishing to pursue licensure as a therapist.

Dr. Lee began providing treatment to men who batter in 1986. These early efforts produced innovative curriculum addressing the unique needs of men of color. moMENtum grew out of this early effort and prides itself on remaining true to the original mission of addressing domestic violence within the context of the individual's total spiritual, emotional, psychological and physiological well being.

Through his private practice he provides treatment for Sexual Disorders, Sexual Dependence, Depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, Mood/Anxiety Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, only to name a few.
